Welcoming March and welcome the International Women’s Day, 8th March being the International Women’s Day.
“Woman” is a very delicate and sensitive creation in the Universe. She is said to be “life” or “life-giving,” or “mother of all who have life,” literally Woman means Man-ess. As it is stated Woman is made from the Rib of a man, hence she is very delicate creation with strong emotions.
In yesteryears as soon as the female child was born she was buried alive. Female child was considered to be a burden then and still in some backward areas of the society. Time tends to change and women made sure to mark their place in this manly world. They made sure their presence is stronger and vigilant in the society. Women came out and stood by men shoulder by shoulder walking in every field of life. But still women are considered less capable then the men. Thinking of Women and we only consider them as homemakers. Woman has been shoulder with great responsibility of educating the society and moving towards great perfection. God created woman as symbol of His own beauty and to give solace to her partner and her family.
Women being a mother, wife, daughter, sister has various responsibilities to fulfil. It’s the woman who raises the heroes of the nation. But when it comes to her own recognition not always she is appreciated or given the credit. They are no less important any longer. Women are making remarkable achievements in the society. Efforts are put to inform the society that they are distinguished.
Women today have a different perspective of life, apart from being a housemakers they are growing in different walks of life. Their way of thinking has grown bigger and wider. They are aiming big and have goals which they wish to achieve and conquer. Talking about the contributors of women society the names that instantly comes to our mind are Mother Theresa, Oprah Winfery, Benazir Bhutto, Angelina Jolie, Ellen Lee DeGeneres, Hellen Keller, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Malala Yousafzai, Haleema Aden, Mai Mukhtaran, Sheika Lubna Al Qasmi, Queen Rania, Princess Diana, Princess Haya, Indra Nooyi, Margaret Thatcher and the list goes on….
The names enlisted above do not need any introduction as they are the ones who have helped other women to grow and some have contributed by setting a remarkable example through their own achievements. There has been a resolution in the society where we see more of women working in all the walks of life. Woman today is more enthusiastic and realistic and open to talk and speak up. She juggles between working and homemaking life and ensures she is giving her best out of her. She has her own flaws but she is no less than anyone. How can one forget the famous saying “behind every successful men is a women”.
